JAN 19: Concert for Kids at Javalinas

jemmettnorton6.jpgFamilies with little ones are invited to attend a musical concert at Javalinas coffeehouse on Saturday, January 19th, at 2:00 p.m.

Javalinas owner Bonnie Vining had this to say about the event, “Join us for a special concert especially for children and their families with folk singer, Jack Norton. Specializing in upbeat and fun music for kids ages 1-8, Jack has been described as “Mr. Rogers with a ukulele” by the Washington Post. He also plays banjo, guitar, and an assortment of offbeat instruments like the duck call, tuned bike horns, and his “musical washboard.” Jack encourages movement and dance through being an energetic and upbeat performer. He has worked as a children’s music specialist in preschools and daycare centers and is currently earning his degree in Early Childhood Education. His dedication to his craft, one-of-a-kind live performances, and his respect and honor of his young audience make him one of the top children’s performers. The suggested donation for this special show is just $3 for each parent and child.”

For more information, contact Bonnie Vining at bonnie@javalinas.com or call 520-663-JAVA (5282).
