SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and general supervision of the HR Supervisor, performs responsible human resources functions of a confidential, varied and moderately complex nature in the Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet applications.
DESIRED: Associates degree or Program Certificate in a related field. Progressive human resources support work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
