Vail Classified Academy – Spring Semester 2013

The following classes are being offered by the Vail Classified Academy at Pima East Campus or Online:
ANT 112, ART 105, BIO 105IN, GEO 103, HIS 101, HIS 141, MAT 142, POS 210, WRT 101, WRT 102

EDU 200, EDU 201, EDU 202, GLG 101IN*, MAT 146, MAT 147, SLG 101, and SLG 102
(*may substitute with another science)

Registration closes January 7, 2013

To assure payment of your tuition, you must contact Megan Cloud at cloudm@vail.k12.az.us and submit a signed Vail Classified Academy Acknowledgement Form.

Classified Employees: Let Vail Help Pay for Your Education

Have you ever thought about going back to school to pursue an Associate of Arts degree but did not have the money or time to take classes?  Are you interested in improving your skills, meeting your professional goals and increasing your pay at the same time?  Then the Vail Classified Academy (VCA) is for you!

The VCA provides degree-seeking Board approved, regular classified employees an opportunity to pursue an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts.

  • Classes offered at PCC East or Online
  • VUSD pays tuition*
  • Contact Megan Cloud at 879-2055 or Denise Paral at 879-2038 for more information
  • AA = increase in pay!  Employees that complete an AA degree can submit official transcripts to Human Resources for an Education Advancement.

Vail also provides opportunities to non-degree seeking Board approved, regular classified employees to take classes for professional development through the Back to School program.

  • Classes offered at PCC East or Online
  • VUSD reimburses ½ the tuition*

*Specific guidelines apply to both programs for tuition payment and/or reimbursement from VUSD
