Superintendent’s Office

	Calvin Baker Superintendent (520) 879-2004 bakerc@vail.k12.az.us Calvin Baker has been the Superintendent of the Vail School District since 1989. Acting as the chief executive officer of the district, Baker reports to the Vail School District Governing Board, a board of volunteer citizens elected by voters in the district. Baker also makes recommendations to the board, communicates the mission/goals of the district to staff members, parents, and the broader community, and supervises the leadership of the sixteen schools in the district.
