This week the Vail School District was the recipient of much needed school supplies, through local non-profit, Tucson Values Teachers.
For the 4th consecutive year, Vail has joined forces with Tucson Values Teachers for the “Tucson Supplies Teachers” school supply drive. This has grown to be the largest supply drive in Southern Arizona.
This year, we saw the largest donation of supplies to our District. The community donated, at our area Walgreens in both Rita Ranch and Vail, over 5,000 supplies.
Every school in the District received a large box of supplies ranging from notebooks, pens, crayons, and markers to reams of paper and boxes of tissue.
Vail sends a heartfelt appreciation to the generous businesses and individuals who donated. These supplies will help our teachers and students in the days ahead. Thank you to Tucson Values Teachers and the Vail Community for your efforts!
